This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all services purchased through vaticanmuseumstickets.com, an online booking platform operated by Follow the World SRLS, a legally registered travel company based in Rome, Italy.

By completing a booking, customers acknowledge and accept the following cancellation and refund conditions.

1. BOOKING FINALITY

Many tickets, reservations, hosted-entry services and travel-related products offered through our platform are subject to fixed availability, nominative ticketing requirements and supplier-imposed conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, bookings are generally considered final once confirmed and may be:

  • Non-refundable;

  • Non-transferable; and/or

  • Non-modifiable.

Any exceptions or flexible cancellation terms will be clearly stated in the relevant product description before purchase.

2. CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS

If a customer chooses to cancel a booking, refund eligibility will depend on:

  • The conditions of the purchased service;

  • The rules of the relevant supplier, attraction or ticket provider; and

  • The cancellation terms displayed at the time of booking.

Where a booking is expressly sold as non-refundable, no refund will be available after confirmation.

3. LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS

Customers are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point or check-in location within the time indicated in their booking instructions.

Failure to arrive on time, failure to complete required check-in procedures or failure to attend the booked service may result in:

  • Loss of admission;

  • Cancellation of the service; and

  • Loss of refund eligibility.

No refund, compensation or rescheduling may be possible in cases of late arrival or no-show where services, tickets or reserved timeslots cannot be recovered.

4. INCORRECT INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMER

Refunds will generally not be available where admission is refused due to customer-related reasons, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect traveller names;

  • Identification documents not matching booking information;

  • Failure to comply with applicable dress-code rules;

  • Carrying prohibited items;

  • Failure to comply with security requirements; or

  • Failure to follow booking instructions.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all booking details are accurate before completing their purchase.

5. SERVICE DISRUPTIONS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

Certain circumstances may affect a booking that are outside the reasonable control of Follow the World SRLS, including:

  • Attraction closures;

  • Maintenance works;

  • Strikes;

  • Operational restrictions;

  • Security measures;

  • Changes imposed by competent authorities; or

  • Force majeure events.

In such situations, Follow the World SRLS will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in accordance with the options made available by the relevant supplier, attraction or authority.

Refunds, credits or alternative arrangements, if available, will depend on the applicable rules of the relevant provider.

6. REFUND PROCESSING

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be returned using the original payment method.

Refund processing times may vary depending on banks, payment providers and card issuers.
